Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) is an Ethernet technology that enables data transmission over a single twisted pair of wires. In combination with Power over Data Line (PoDL), data and power can be transmitted over the same pair. SPE provides seamless, IP-based communication from the sensor to the cloud.

In industrial applications, SPE enables Ethernet connectivity for sensors, actuators, and other field devices while helping reduce cabling complexity, space requirements, and weight.
